Our classes
Five classrooms, one caring community
From our Caterpillars baby room to Reception, every room is designed so children feel safe, inspired and nurtured.
Caterpillars 7 – 14 months
Our Caterpillars room has a variety of resources for babies including walkers, bouncers, Bumbo seats, high chairs, sensory toys, soft furnishings and woolly carpets, as well as its own sleep area with cots. The room is bright and eye-catching for them to explore.

Bumblebees 15 months – 2 years
Our Bumblebees room is a very spacious room for children who love to move around and explore their environment. It has two seating areas: one for music time, with beautiful musical artwork on the wall, and a carpet area where they can easily reach the many resources on the shelves, including lots of different construction toys. A play structure lets the children climb steps, building their muscles and learning to use steps independently. There is also a home corner, small kitchen, car mat with garage and cars, book basket and a large table for eating and adult-led activities that encourage social skills. The children have a low-level sink so they can independently wash their hands before and after play and eating.

Ladybirds 2 years
Dragonflies 3 years
Butterflies Pre-School
All our rooms upstairs share the same theme. Each has its own toilet and hand-wash basin, two carpet areas for differentiated learning, and whiteboards and blackboards so the children can independently use different writing tools during class activities and free play. All our classrooms have book baskets, construction materials and a variety of resources at the children’s level for independent choosing.

Reception Reception Class
Our Reception class has been designed with a different feel so the children know they are a level above the other classes. It has tables and chairs for older children and computer tables, along with a reading and quiet area.

The Learning Area
The Learning Area is the most popular room in the school. Yes… the Learning Area! The children love this room and so do we. It’s a space where they can be creative, use their imagination, develop a love for reading and work on their communication, social and creative skills through imaginative and role-play scenarios.

Communal Areas
Our communal areas, such as walkways and stairs, are clean and child-safe, with a gate at the top and bottom of the carpeted stairs and railings at children’s height. The children’s bag hooks are in the corridors, labelled with each child’s name and picture so they can first recognise their picture and eventually their name. Each door has a check-in register, where children find their name and check themselves in and out of school by moving their name to the right picture.
